"In Taiwan, Tainan, Togo Rural village, there is a museum, not a formal arts space, not a relationship between the market and the buyer.

The sunshine is its light, the wind is its fan, the land is its canvas, the artists are the farmers, and the village is the museum.

We have grew the project for ten days and shaped this exhibition "Big God and Little God".

It is a metaphor of mankind's greed, and the imagination of the wonderland.

In September of 2015, Flying Donkey Theater and The Open Theater of taiwan were artists in residence at the Togo Rural Village Museum. The installation was built inside a traditional Taiwanese house and separated into three parts, each relating to the effects of air pollution in Taiwan. Pictured above is one room of the installation, depicting the largest coal fired powerplant in the world, located in Longjing, Taichung, Taiwan.

Corresponding with the installation, The Open Theater and Flying Donkey partnered with the environmental justice organization, P.M. 2.5, on a public parade spreading awareness of the effects of air pollution on the environment and the human body. Public workshops gathered students from Puri, Taiwan, who painted, built, and performed a puppet parade on Taiwans first day of action against air pollution.
